Shore-Based Maintenance Coordination Contract
SBMCC is a Radio Holland Netherlands product. It is a contract through which, in accordance with IMO rules, the shipowner outsources the maintenance and repair management of maritime electronics on-board. It implies that Radio Holland Netherlands provides on board service and maintenance to navigation, communication and automation equipment, and assures the international co-ordination of service assistance, wherever in the world and 24 hours a day. These ships will thus meet the GMDSS maintenance requirements (Global Maritime Distress and Safety System).
Radio Holland Netherlands concluded a large number of SBMCC contracts and this number increases daily.
